Bathroom window curtains designs 2011

Your bathroom is a very private place – keep it private with bathroom window curtains. Of course bathroom window curtains can do more than just block out light and peering eyes, they will also add class and style to your bathroom.

When you begin shopping for your bathroom curtains remember privacy and lighting. Keep in mind that the curtain you are shopping for is for a bathroom. Unlike other rooms you are more than likely going to want a considerable amount of privacy in your bathroom. Hence there is a need for a curtain with a good amount of coverage.

Asian Bathroom Designs

Behind the glass doors, a Japanese tub and shower make up the wet room. Frosted glass doors parallel the room on the other side to conceal a water closet or toilet room.



In this not so typical Asian-inspired bathroom, a neutral color palate is chosen to evoke a timeless design. Black high lights on the sink vanity accentuate the details in the Asian-themed artwork and wall covering.



Zen Fusion at its finest. The combination of Asian influence with the contemporary lines and products of today creates this spa environment, which features walnut cabinets, Shoji screen doors with metal tile and faux grass cloth walls. A true Japanese-style tub and a large walk-in shower with body sprays and all the works provide the finishing touches.



The master bathroom features a new window treatment using two companion fabrics, superb accessories and wallpaper with a leaf pattern.



A large soaking tub in a Zen-inspired bath was created using earth tone tiling and multi-hued glass tile, clean lines and unique accents. A custom cherry stained cabinet hides the oversized tub equipment and artisan created metal art adds a bit of color and texture to the room.



The high ceilings and large surface area of this bathroom were an inspiration to keep the space minimal. The contemporary style square tub, situated next to full-height windows, was uniquely built into the ground along the same level as the new concrete floors. Asian-inspired accent pieces, including light fixtures, a teak stool and original artwork, keep the feeling Zen-like.

Asian Dining Rooms Designs

A custom piece of glass tops a Saarinen tulip table base framed by a curvaceous silk-velvet settee. A wood bench stands in place of a conventional dining set in the dining area. Timber bamboo, lustrous overscaled Vietnamese pottery, a trio of sparkling Thai-inspired mirrors and about a dozen candles interspersed with smooth dark stones enhance the dining area's mature appeal.




The built-in banquette makes this spot a favorite place for everyday uses or large gatherings. Mohair and leather are great options for seating because they're long-lasting even with heavy use. The Tibetan scroll painting is surrounded by a Baroque-style mirror frame, giving it an eclectic look. Tortoise vases, dried hydrangeas, large candelabras and an oversized African weave pillow complete the room.



The bold, red color and use of leather in this Asian-style breakfast nook give it a unique look.



Candles provide an inexpensive touch of light that add just the right aura to any space. Create sparkle in a dining room by incorporating mirrored or glass elements. Adding the color red to any room or space adds drama and makes a bold statement.



A mixture of honey maple and black give this breakfast table a unique look. The centerpiece lends modern, organic style among the upholstered dining chairs.



Natural elegance resounds throughout this Asian-influenced dining room/living room combo. This design exudes peace and serenity while maintaining a modern sense of elegance.

Asian Living Rooms

This room is a media, office and relaxation area all in one. A large, dual-purpose mirror acts as a strong decorative touch and enlarges the size of the room. The Thai-inspired design of the mirror frame forms a pattern of flowers from pieces of glass inlaid in mahogany. The Mid-century glass console table provides the perfect storage spot for gliding seats brought out for visiting gamers. The goal in this room was to combine existing English-styled furnishings with Asian artwork to create a comfortable home for a retired couple. This contemporary meditation space features a bronze waterfall sculpture, bronze tables and a mounted antique tortoiseshell as design elements to provide a serene, elegant area. Shoji screens create a feeling of unlimited space and light.
